Project Manager - Events & Client Account
Location:
Remote working, but must be able to travel to run events in the US and Canada.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager to oversee event execution and client account management. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality events, while ensuring excellent client service and satisfaction. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations, budgets, timelines, and all event-related logistics from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring smooth operations from inception to completion.
Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure necessary resources.
Oversee event logistics, including setup, on-site execution, and post-event breakdown.
Manage event staff, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
Handle troubleshooting and problem-solving during live events.
Client Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and understanding their needs.
Develop and present event proposals, budgets, and post-event reports.
Ensure all client expectations are met, aligning with brand standards and business objectives.
Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns proactively.
Identify opportunities for upselling additional services and growing client accounts.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination:
Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and logistics.
Collaborate with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to maximize event impact.
Ensure all team members and external vendors adhere to project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 3+ years in event management, project management, or client account management.
Skills:
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in event management software, project management tools.
Budgeting and financial management experience.
Problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
