Project Manager - Events & Client Account

Location:
Remote working, but must be able to travel to run events in the US and Canada.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager to oversee event execution and client account management. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality events, while ensuring excellent client service and satisfaction. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations, budgets, timelines, and all event-related logistics from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring smooth operations from inception to completion.

  • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure necessary resources.

  • Oversee event logistics, including setup, on-site execution, and post-event breakdown.

  • Manage event staff, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.

  • Handle troubleshooting and problem-solving during live events.

Client Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and understanding their needs.

  • Develop and present event proposals, budgets, and post-event reports.

  • Ensure all client expectations are met, aligning with brand standards and business objectives.

  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns proactively.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services and growing client accounts.

Team & Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and logistics.

  • Collaborate with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to maximize event impact.

  • Ensure all team members and external vendors adhere to project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 3+ years in event management, project management, or client account management.

  • Skills:

    • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in event management software, project management tools.

    • Budgeting and financial management experience.

    • Problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.

    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
