Full-Stack Developer MERN (LMS)

Location:
Remote working, but must be able to coordinate with European and North American time zones.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack MERN Developer to lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of a modern training and learning application across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer with experience in scalable architecture, secure backend systems, intuitive front-end development, and seamless integrations with third-party services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements & Planning

  • Gather functional and technical requirements from stakeholders.

  • Define system architecture, technology stack, and project roadmap.

  • Contribute to agile planning, task estimation, and sprint organization.

  • Backend Development

  • Design and implement REST/GraphQL APIs and robust database schemas, JSON.

  • Ensure security, privacy, and compliance best practices (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).

  • Frontend & Mobile Development

  • Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web applications.

  • (Optional) Develop cross-platform mobile applications with offline capabilities and push notifications.

  • Optimize performance, scalability, and accessibility across devices.

  • Quality Assurance & Deployment

  • Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment strategies.

  • Provide launch support and documentation for knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

  • Full-stack development experience (web and/or mobile).

  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React) and Node.js.

  • Experience with relational and MongoDB.

  • Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.

  • Preferred familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines).

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
