A firm believer in cultivating an efficient social sector Samir focuses on empowering non-profits to acquire the same level of talent that goes to the corporate sector and creating economic opportunity for underprivileged communities. He is the co-founder of Transfernation, an award winning non-profit which leverages technology to ensure extra food from events and other sources of food waste go toward supporting those with the greatest need.
Samir has spent the past years bridging the public and private sector around global social change and connecting other passionate individuals to unique opportunities. Samir recently served as a Strategy Analyst for the United Nations first annual Social Media for Social Good Summit, supporting discussions between major media and humanitarian organizations.
