Diane helps companies grow and create value by deeply embedding brand purpose and integrating sustainability into operations strategically. She has worked internationally with business for decades to help reshape the economy so that the environment improves, more people have better jobs and consumers grow connected to how our stuff is made. Working for Sir Richard Branson’s investment company, she adds strategic insight to the portfolio of Virgin companies to define and integrate purpose and sustainability across all areas of operations. She works across functions such as brand, people (HR), business and product innovation, customer experience, environmental performance and charitable activities. She brings two decades of experience in sustainability, transparency and stakeholder engagement. She has advised Fortune 500 companies, served as Senior Advisor to the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) and is a founding member of the Vatican Arts and Technology Council. Widely published, Diane earned a doctorate in Environmental Economics and Development Studies at the London School of Economics (LSE). She began her career as a portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch in Switzerland.
