I’m Camilo, born and raised in Manaus, just in the heart of Amazon rainforest. There, I learned how life can be simple and how we can make global impact turn into local. That’s because I was involved into projects to make my home region a better place to live, by co-founding Kapok, an educational startup that helps young people to find and build their own career path. Passionate about projects, because I believe that everything has a beginning and an end, and moved by challenges, I lived before in São Paulo, Fortaleza, Rio and Maputo, Mozambique. Love to work in a multi-cultural environment, since a 5-year experience in global organizations like Impact Hub and AIESEC. Proudly, I was part of the Olympic Games Organizing Committee of Rio2016, as Language Services Venue Manager, leading an amazing team of 12 volunteers of 8 different countries to deliver comprehensive translations on the biggest event and one of the most complexes projects of the world. This last experience is just another example of one of my strongest beliefs: Think global, act local.
